Are they listening to us?
They say they want to affirm students right, ours rights. But do they? Everytime we gave bad comments "they are useless", "they never do anything", "they're there just to make the seat hot" .... and they defended themselves saying " It is because students never send their complaints to us, we do not know about the issue, else we would try our best to solve it" Yes you are right, it's the Student Representative Council of Cyberjaya Campus session 05/06. * their face r there to decorate the poster? *
We received quite some complaints on SRCyber saying they are not replying to students' emails (complaints). Do they really check their email? Do they ever get our complaints? Perhaps they received the complaints and in process of solving the issue, but they can at least acknowledge the sender right? My partner emailed srcyber@mmu.edu.my on Tue May 16, 2006 and we received no respond for 1 WHOLE MONTH. Nevermind, we give them another chance coz we're nice ;) i sent another email on Wed Jun 21, 2006 The title of the mail is -> [THIS IS A SPOTCHECK] <-. below is the content of both mails.

updates* : The information & promotion is in charge of both emails srcyber@mmu.edu.my and bulletin@mmu.edu.my . Wah they got check the latter mail inbox or not.. hmmm if 04/05 can, why 05/06 can not?

Career Fair - The right place to start your career

When I received this message through yahoo, I was curious on how come they are going to starhill. So I did a little investigation and this is what I found out. To those who have no idea what am i talking about, well i am referring to CareerFair2006 (http://careerfair.mmu.edu.my)
First, I was told they all going to Jogoya for their appreciation dinner. This is taken from the net:
When I received this message through yahoo, I was curious on how come they are going to starhill. So I did a little investigation and this is what I found out. To those who have no idea what am i talking about, well i am referring to CareerFair2006 (http://careerfair.mmu.edu.my)
First, I was told they all going to Jogoya for their appreciation dinner. This is taken from the net:
“…Located at Starhill offers from japanese sushi, tepanyakki, chinese dishes, dim sum, to variety of seafood for RM68++ to RM 88++ per person.”
If there are having it here, I am sure they are well prepared to pay 88++, which would be around 100 ringgit. Now, if you were asked to pay that money for a certain appreciation dinner, would you pay? Let me answer that for you, it would be a definite NO. But you see, CareerFair2006 is different, the chairman decided to pay for all his underlings. And if you think again, if you were the chairman, would you want to fork out that much of money? So the question is where did the money come from?
If that’s not enough, all of them will be going for a movie too, Mission Impossible III. This should be around 10 ringgit per person. Personally I wouldn’t mind giving my own committee a movie treat, so I wouldn’t say this is something major.
Lastly, their initial plan of going to Aquaria, was scrapped off due to unforeseen circumstances. But here’s the thing, they planned to go so I am sure the money was available if they had gone. How much would it cost them?

So let’s just assumed all of them used their MyKad, that would cost them 28 ringgit per person.
Don’t we forget their transportation? They will be ferried by buses, 4 buses to be exact. One bus could carry around 36 – 40 people. So there’ll be like 144 to 160 people. So there’ll be like 152 people, plus minus, going for the appreciation dinner.
Let’s do the maths shall we,
Jogoya = 152 X RM 100 = RM 15200
Movie = 152 X RM 10 = RM 1520
Aquaria= 152 X RM 28 = RM 4256 *
*I know they didn’t go, but the money was available.
So the total will be RM 20976. I have known how some of the people incharge of CareerFair work. I have seen how they have manipulated the accounts and I am sure they too have swallowed in a large some of money. I don’t have to give out names and if you’re reading this, I would say Good Job my friend. You have joined countless events and I am not even sure how much you have got by now.
So assuming he and his buddies took around 5K in total, it could be more, who knows – then the grand total would be RM 25976 +/-
To STAD, I wonder why you keep informing us if there’s extra money, to return it but why the ex SRC people could spend lavishly on something like the above ???

Once upon a time, in a far far place called Cyberjaya or the Intelligent
Being a typical malaysian thinking that entering a University is so 'glamour' and to be called as a 'University Undergraduate' will make you 'walk also got wind' kind of stuff. I entered MMU and started my new life in this new home. Education is important but your activities is also important to 'decorate' your Job Resume (CV).
Why mmuXpose is created and why should you read it? We are here to EXPOSE everything beneath the truth, everything HIDDEN from us the Students, and EVERYTHING that deceive us into believeing something that is actually CONTRADICT with the TRUTH. What you see, hear or feel may NOT be the TRUTH. mmuXpose is created by a group of students and ex-students who are conscious of what is happening around MMU inside and out. We want to TELL THE STUDENTS so they will not follow our footstep in REPEATING THE SAME OLD MISTAKE !
We were inspired by mmuStory which really did a great job on reporting issues and the truth of SRC Cyberjaya and SRC Melaka. Therefore, our main focus here is the whole MMU and welfare of students! I DO NOT RELY ON SRC as they are just a group of people who claim to serves students welfare but actually trying to protect *cough*something*cough*u*cough*know.... anyway, we do not want to trouble the SRC therefore we created this blog to fight for students rights and make the whole university transparent to you... no no, not invisible.
Don't say we're bullshit or what we posted on this blog is false information and even say that is just our own perception blablahblah.... we consists of individuals with great experiences in MMU Cyber and MMU Melaka campus.
